Okay, I have got to brag and pat myself on the back and engage in a bit of general puffery here for a second - I shall try not to go on too long, to hurt myself in the process, or to sound like an obnoxious brat, but can’t make any promises… But I have to take a second to thank Dana at Let’s Book It for selecting Jill-Elizabeth.com as her blog of the week!!
Honestly, I don’t know how I managed to earn such thoughtful compliments and generous exposure opportunities - I feel like such a slacker so often: plodding along on my book(s), not posting as much original writing as I used to… And yet there are a handful of you loyal readers who seem to think it’s all pretty decent stuff anyway! (teehee) You really make my day when you tell me you enjoy my writing and the blog - I can’t thank you enough for the supportive words and comments, honestly.
And so a thousand thanks again, to Dana and anyone else who has ever said a kind word. You like me, you really like me!! HOORAY! I shall endeavor to do my level best not to disappoint…
Yes, we do really like you! Have a great day!
Puffery is okay. In fact, I recommend it . . . highly. I stopped in to join your site because Dana said it was worth my while. She’s right. The word, puffery, alone would have me made a follower. See you again.
Why thank you C. Lee - how kind of you! I hope not to disappoint…
I can’t promise I will always entertain, but I can fairly well promise that I will always use words like puffery.
